I'm sure the thinking at the DoJ is, "Well, if they're not on American soil, torture isn't forbidden by the Constitution, so we're cool."

KagroX - sadly, you're probably right.

Maybe this will prevent rendition. Maybe not.

Won't likely prevent rendition, but it's a step forward. Though I'm no expert, my position on Gonzales is on record.

Sometimes, it's not okay to let the President have whoever (s)he wants.
