Oh, shit. I have to go to California tomorrow and I can't get out of it.

Tell me, oh wise and noble sage, will I turn gay?

Seriously, this is very welcome news. The problem that the antis face in all of this is, of course, that there is no logical justification for abolistion of same-sex marriage other than so-called traditional notions of constitutes a marriage from a religious standpoint. Absent an equally misguided state constitutional amendment such as we now have in this state, there is no legal means to deny any couple the right to marry, cohabitate or gain other domestic relationships merely on the basis of gender.

More states will recognize this, but we will take a long and painful road to get to a place of true equality on this issue. But there is hope. I just compare my dad to my daughters and know that there is hope.

Tell me, oh wise and noble sage, will I turn gay?

Stay away from Ikea, and your chances are OK.

Snerk.

This is such great news that I've even given a minor and temporary pass to the opposition. I really resent that opposition claiming to be acting in "in defense of man-woman marriage." Those same people would have declared my hetero marriage anathema just half a century ago.
